PAVE's Intelligent Damage Detection checks each component and references over 30,000 variables of different types of damages.

These highlights are color-keyed based on the level of severity and include recommended repair method. Although detected, anything marked in grey is just for information and does not affect the overall grading or condition of the vehicle.

PAVE provides a detailed description of every damage:

PAVE checks the windshield for chips, stars, cracks and scratches. By analyzing the front right tire, PAVE also provides an estimated tread depth (same assumed for all four), tire type or any signs of weather cracking or bulging.
